The 45,000 SF Outpatient Surgery Expansion includes spaces for Hand, OB/Gyn + Urogyn, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, OP General, Non-robotic Urology/Colo-rectal and Breast surgeries. Located on the 4th floor of the Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion, the fit out of the shelled space includes 13 operating rooms, 16 pre-op stations, 17 PACU stations, sterile processing and associated support spaces.
Rees-Stealy Rancho Bernardo Medical Office Building
Sharp Rees-Stealy’s Rancho Bernardo Medical Office Building represents significant regional growth for the health system with the addition of this 100,000 SF facility in San Diego’s North County. The three-story MOB supports 21 medical departments and houses 137 exam rooms, 16 procedure rooms and 62 offices.
Irwindale Specialty Medical Office Building and ASC
The Specialty Medical Office Building and ASC is the pinnacle component of the new Irwindale Health Hub, which is intended to transform the patient’s experience by offering comprehensive, intuitive healthcare. The MOB and ASC provides specialty medical services delivered through Kaiser’s collaborative care concept, Reimagining Ambulatory Care Design (RAD). Specialty clinical services include RAD clinical offices, gastroenterology with a procedure laboratory, podiatry, ophthalmology, outpatient surgical specialties and procedure suites, pharmacy, sterile processing, clinical laboratory and imaging.
Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center
A major hospital campus renovation of all major facilities, departments and modalities to improve care access, enhance patient care, upgrade technology and meet seismic safety standards. The renovation will include an expanded emergency department to allow the hospital to better respond to increased demand and will expand the hospital’s existing diagnostic and treatment areas, including the neonatal intensive care unit and women’s pavilion. The project will also include the addition of a new inpatient tower with 244 private rooms. Upon relocation of existing inpatient care units to the new patient tower, the vacated space will be repurposed into ancillary and support space.
Spring Valley Hospital OR Expansion
The operating suite expansion encompasses the second floor of the broader four-story, 103,000 SF Spring Valley Hospital expansion and renovation project. Included in the operating suite expansion is a 36-bed surgical unit housing a hybrid operating room, cardiovascular operating room, shelled space for a future operating room, post-anesthesia care unit, med room, equipment storage, sterile storage, anesthesia work station, soiled utilities and operating suite core. The project team utilized integrated project delivery to deliver the project efficiently and properly manage both cost and schedule.
California Men’s Colony Mental Health Crisis Facility
The Mental Health Crisis Facility provides 50 beds in an approximately 47,100 SF, CTC licensed and OSHPD 4 designed stand alone facility. In addition to the treatment and housing components, patient services include laboratory, phlebotomy, radiological services, dietetic services, pharmacy and a trauma and triage area consisting of a medical observation room, treatment room and nurse station area.
Mercy Hospital Southwest New Patient Tower
A multi-phased design-build project consisting of a new, four-story, 106-bed patient tower and an approximately 32,000 SF renovation and expansion of the surgery, emergency and imaging departments. The new tower will house 48 med-surg/telemetry beds, 24 ICU rooms, 18 NICU rooms, 6 operating rooms, 16 imaging modalities, a new USP 797/800 pharmacy and a new dietary/servery.
Palo Alto Medical Foundation Fremont Surgery Center
The two-story ambulatory surgery center houses four operating rooms, two gastrointestinal procedure rooms, nine recovery and pre-op rooms, two twenty-three hour rooms, five PACU bays and a sterile processing department. Efficiency and flexibility for the staff are encouraged through standardized operating rooms and patient bays, while skyscapes in the corridors provide a calming environment for patients.
