The new six-story, 280 bed Patient Bed Building I and Rehabilitation Center houses the Center of Excellence for rehabilitation in spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. The center advances Santa Clara Valley Medical Center’s excellence in spinal cord and brain injury care. Included in the new facility are inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation therapy for traumatic brain injury and spinal cord, aquatics, intensive care unit, acute care, pharmacy, cafeteria, conference center, and general medical and surgical beds for special procedures.
