As Keck Medicine’s largest and most advanced outpatient center, the 4-story Pasadena Medical Office Building is a one-stop healthcare campus for residents of the Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley communities. Clinical services include ambulatory surgery with vascular and cardiac surgery specialties, diagnostic imaging featuring MRI, CT and PET/CT, endoscopy, medical, radiation and surgical oncology, autoimmune care, orthopedics and cardiology, with pharmacy and lab spaces to support the more than 15 specialty clinics housed in the building.
A notable offering in the MOB is RefleXion SCINTIX biology-guided radiotherapy, which combines PET/CT imaging with biology-guided radiotherapy via LINAC to deliver extremely precise radiation therapy, using cancer cells’ own signals to target treatment locations and adjusting treatment on a second-by-second basis to meet expected and unexpected tumor movement. This technology has been cleared by the FDA to treat tumors in the lung or bone arising from primary or metastatic cancer and can treat multiple tumors in a single session.
